Bo Brandon William Rackliff, is a 22-year-old actor and musician, who grew up in Somerset in the beautiful South West of England. They are currently based in Farnham, where they are a 3rd year student, studying a BA (Hons) in Acting and Performance, at the University for the Creative Arts, they will graduate in July 2024. Farnham's close proximity to London grants easy access for professional creative opportunities in both acting and music.
Bo has studied and performed, both the works, techniques and styles of practitioners such as, Anton Chekhov, Konstantin Stanislavksi, and Atonin Artuad. Studying the progressive techniques of these practitioners has given Bo a coherent base of knowledge on how to develop characters and critically analyse scripts in order to excel in creating strong and thought provoking performances. As well as these practitioners, through their studies at UCA and the Somerset Performing Arts Centre Of Education, Bo has extensive knowledge of Shakespeare, Grand Guignol theatre, along with an in-depth experience of improvisation, musical theatre, and film acting. Additionally Bo, worked with distinguished industry professionals and companies such as Sally Rodgers, Frantic Assembly & Little Bulb Theatre. Whilst studying at the University for the Creative Arts Bo has taken it upon themselves to study music as an extracurricular activity. Bo has developed a comprehensive understanding of music theory and specialises in guitar and bass guitar.
Bo has great aspirations to create, progressive and thought provoking works of art, pieces that will physically and emotionally affect people. One of the avenues they intend to explore is to write and direct their own films. They have recently created an autobiographical documentary film exploring the impacts of eating disorders on the family unit, and are currently planning another film of the same genre, which will examine the life and history of a retired couple from Martok. Bo is currently seeking representation from high level acting agencies, as well as music producers. Bo is currently developing their own band and film production company by the names of "Kassandra and the Hobgoblins", and "Kassandra Films" respectively.
